So I'm going back to school for science, and I saw a wheelchair once that stood up. Not only did it stand you up, but through pulleys you could move it around while standing up. I can't find it on the internet, and I need to find it to show my new dealer so he can get it for me. Anyone know where to get one?

Go towww.permobil.com. Model C500VS is their new power wheelchair with power standing feature. This one also has power tilt, power recline, power leg rests and a seat elevator.
Good luck, Sibyl

I have Levo combi standing chair from g simons. Bloody good chair very easy to drive/change body position From sitting/lying fully flat (good for sunbathing)/or standing. 1 design fault for me is the gas struts at rear of chair (they act as a damper to stop the chair rocking). I follow rugby so going over fields/very uneven ground or on holiday in europe no drop kerbs/lots of cobbles etc. I keep bursting the struts.

I saw one in the 90s that was chain driven and worked very well in just about every situation, it was designed by a professor at UAA who was t-12. He was trying to market it and used to have a lot of videos and literature but I don't know what ever happened with it.

Just by coincidence, I got an email tonight with a link to a product that looks very promising.

not exactly what you're looking for though :-(
