from a caregivers take, what must i do differently or stay most attentive to when brother is experiencing UTI,
is the first one or first ones most extreme
are there things that help beside cranberry juice and water

Looks like this post was from a few months ago, but try reading up on D-mannose to treat and prevent UTI's. Also, avoid soft drinks, take 1000mg of vitamin C everyday to keep the urine acidic which makes it inhospitable for bacteria growth, and probiotics like acidophilus. Avoid Cranberry "cocktail" it's no good as it has a ton of sugar. Cranberry pills are much better.
