I am a complete tetraplegic C4-5. Hemroids are something a lot of people have and live with without much inconvenience. Some friends I know have had surgery . I am reluctant to go down down that path. I have been a quad for considerable years.
I would appreciate any information.

I think the reason most people who are AB & have the surgery done is because for them it is an end to an almost 24/7 burning & itching & pain every time they need to have BM. If it doesn't both you & your Dr. isn't worried about anything rupturing back there than why put yourself through that.

No I have not had it done.......just my "2 cents".

I have had the dreaded rhoids for years and when they used to bleed I would freak but I went to my doc who did not seem that concerned. This last year I have started paying much more attention to my diet, eating the right foods, yogurt and items high in fiber. I'm much more regular, softer stools and far less episodes blood in the stool.
