This thread has been started as mentioned in "The Incredibly Boring Thread".

I'll start off with mentioning that I just moved into a new house. I finally have the accessible bathroom that I've wanted/needed for 20 months now. It also has an exercise room (in need of some equipment), a home theater room, and a back yard with a waterfall, stream, pond, patio, fire pit, etc.

Maybe I can upload some photos later. I know Ed, I still haven't posted any photos of my Marvel chair.

Twisted Ophelia: Good to hear you had a great time on your friend's bike. Have you scheduled another ride?

Riding my motorcycle is one of the main things I miss post accident........... just nothing else like it. I'm hoping to get back on one soon. Of course, it was the bike that gave me this SCI. That and the tractor trailer that decided to run me over.

Kev-O has a Yamaha R-1 with the adaption you mentioned earlier. He stated in another thread that he might be selling it..... sent him a PM for the details.

Have fun, but be sure to keep that protective gear on!

He has two bikes, and one of them doesn't have room for a passenger. He normally just rides his one-person bike so I'll have to bug him to start riding that passenger bike more often :scooter: We were joking around today that I'll let him ride my horse and he'll take me for rides on the bike--we'll ride the bike up to the barn, he'll ride my horse, and then be sore as all hell :H2kOther (26): He thinks it's pretty funny how tight I held onto him, clutching him for dear life. I'd rather hang on tight than fly off the back or going around a turn! I'll definitely keep all that protective gear on. I don't think he'd let me ride with him without it! Have you ridden on the back of a bike at all since you got hurt? I was telling my buddy today that we've got to take some pics of his velcro foot strap system to show you guys.

I've just posted in the incredibly boring thread. It's not the content that's exciting, it's the doing. And I'm done.

No, I've not been on a motorcycle since my accident. I have been on an ATV and it was good fun, but not the same as a street bike or dirt bike. I just don't think I would enjoy riding a trike without the whole leaning bit.

Yeah, it would be good to see some pictures of your buddy's bike.

I will take some pics of it with my phone, see if they come out clear or not. And I'll definitely get some pics of the velcro system next time he takes me for a ride. I'd totally like to get on the highway with him, slightly scary but must be tons of fun! If he thought I was hanging on tight before, just on the regular roads, wait til we get on the highway, haha!

Well I thought I'd revive this thread this morning because I'm up early and getting ready to go scuba diving--which certainly isn't boring :specool: My dive buddy and I are heading out to the beach around 9:30 and we plan to dive the J.C Morrison wreck at some point today, which is about 200m from shore. He is already certified and these are my first two open water certification dives so wish me good luck! My instructor thinks it may be exhausting for me to swim the 200m out to the wreck so my dive buddy is going to tow me. I can see it now--me having a nice relaxing ride all the way out there while my poor dive buddy busts his ass towing me along and does all the work, hahhaha... just kidding... sorta :mfrlol: We have an underwater videographer joining us to shoot footage for a potential documentary about me as a spinal cord injured scuba diver which I'm super excited about! On our next dives, two weekends from now, we have a professional underwater photographer joining us to shoot photos, you can check out his pics at http://www.warrenlophotography.com and his photos of the JC Morrison wreck at http://www.warrenlop...tario/morrison/

LOL! I had a hood on, didn't have to worry about hair! Until the hood came off... yikes. Tangled long blonde mass of snarled hair. Seriously. Hoods, lake water, and long hair don't mix. AND I sunburned during our surface interval. Another yikes!

...We have an underwater videographer joining us to shoot footage for a potential documentary about me as a spinal cord injured scuba diver which I'm super excited about!...

That is WONDERFUL news! Good luck...and, I'll be watching your posts for updates.

I updated my blog with some pics and the full story of our dives:
http://mimimachine.blogspot.com

We got lots of amazing footage, and since neither myself nor my dive buddy has a proper underwater camera yet, we had to use one those cheap disposable ones. I hope it turned out! it was somewhat dark down there so we'll see but we took some pics of us diving the shipwreck. my poor dive buddy had to do so much extra work--lug our gear back and forth, carry me over some very treachorous lake rocks, rescue me from zebra mussels (haha), tow me 200ft FOUR TIMES...

i am working on trying to get a local station to pick up the story about us diving and maybe do a small series on it, like on the CBC or something (sort of equivalent to the BBC). hopefully it happens!

the dives went awesome, i can't wait to dive more :-)

Damn... I've been exposed!

Now, the true question... is this me or is it Greybeard, as put forth in another thread? We've both taken credit for it. Who's the imposter?
