Damn... I've been exposed!

Now, the true question... is this me or is it Greybeard, as put forth in another thread? We've both taken credit for it. Who's the imposter?

I don't like telling on people, but Greybeard has been dressing up and posing as Clara Taylor.... :lmao: Would I tell lies?? I'm just reading about it all in the Financial Times; its incredibly interesting... :paper:

Hehhhehe thanks, Jerry! It's kind of funny but I'm most excited about the prospect of getting a new chair that's all tricked out. They're trying to revamp the brand a bit and I'm just flattered that they asked me to do the "lifestyle" shots!

I got really excited when I read your post, but then realised I'd misread 'New Model' as 'Nude Model'...

It's funny because Ches said the same thing to me last night--devo bait! But it will be more for the Quickie Ti brochures and catalogue for Sunrise, as far as I know, not just random pictures of me floating around. Public photos like that are one thing but I would have an issue with personal photos being stolen by devos, especially personal info. The details for the modeling gig are still being hammered out. It's not going to be anything with my personal info on it. Just like anyone else who models for a company. But a brand new custom Quickie Ti? Count me in! :yahoo:

Maybe one of your local Canadian chanels will create the next Kat Von D. character out there with:

The inked shows are so popular here. With all the exposure your getting, it's only matter of time.

:dancegirl: I needed a chuckle. This week has been rough. As it turns out, yesterday I got an email from Quickie marketing. I will actually be modeling the Quickie Q7, doing the photo/video shoots, etc. Quickie's newest chair. It's really cool looking and I am, despite feeling pretty down and out, starting to feel excited about it. I'm not sure if I'll also be doing photos of the Ti but my new chair looks like it will be a Q7. Pretty neat.

Edited to add the link to the Q7 on Sportaid: http://www.sportaid....wheelchair.html The chair at 16x16 weighs just 17ish lbs and can be as low as 14lbs, including rear wheels. I use a 14"x15" chair (will be dropping down to a 15" length) and my chair will be closer to the 14lbs. Nice and light. And I thought my Ti was light!

Polly. Male parrot named after Pollonius Parrotus, an ancient Roman parrot, as depicted in the well known wall painting at Herculaneum (first tunnel on the left past the statue of Pompey's pig, Porkus Rosti).

I thought it was time to resurrect this thread.

I just had a wonderful trip down memory lane, courtesy of YouTube when I found this clip of a ride on the wheels I used to have when I were nowt but a lad.   I'd post a photo, but the bloody system won't let me (even if I reduce it to 49Kb!!) :specool:

The bike was a Velocette Viper 350cc that used to flummox the boy racers on their 500 twins, who'd left me standing at the traffic lights, when I cruised past them doing 60 mph still in first while they were struggling to change into third! :mfrlol:

This clip brought it all back.   I can almost feel that big single thumping me up the bum again.  Ah! The sound of that fishtail exhaust.  The smell of the Castrol R.   Deep joy

You need the sound on.

I remember when I was about 17 I had rode dirt bikes and smaller ones I had a 125 honda. My uncle let me borrow his Triumph 650. I rode all over town on that bike looking good feeling good. Pulled up to his house with him a few cousins standing there looking cool. Rode right up to them came to a full and complete stop and promptly fell over. Never bother to put a foot down. :specool:
