Scribbler - that is in fact good (and interesting) news! Have fun ... :(
I also liked the pictures of the bikes. My husband used to love them. (There's still a photo on the mantelpiece ...) I should scan it and add it - but I'm too lazy.

I'm officially excited!

Having my eye surgery in the morning. Maybe I'll look 10 years younger... :drooldrip:

The most exciting bit is in May!!......3 nights in London with Little Olga..... :licklips:
As a surprise, I've booked to see Les Mis, which Little Olga hasn't seen but loved the DVD of the Concert.
I'm planning to take in the Tate Britain to show her JMW Turners work plus Millais.....
We may have time for a river trip.

I'd invite Trin for tea at the Ritz, but I bet she's busy working.... :girl_devil:

I hate to disappoint you Scribbs, but after your eye surgery you'll probably look in the mirror and realise that you look ten years OLDER than you thought you looked!

Dead envious of you - he's my favourite artist. I used to spend hours in the National Gallery in the 70's just sitting and studying his work - happy days.

Good luck mate. Of course I could have saved you all the hassle. I keep my penknife nice and sharp and I'm sure we could have found a video clip of the procedure on YouTube. Perhaps next time. Get Olga to give you a sweetie for being a brave boy.

Good luck for the eye surgery, Scribbs! I hope you see beauty pure and simple afterwards: little Olga, pretty nurses ...

Your London trip with Olga sounds fantastic. Les Misérables and the Tate - what pleasures! (You aren't spoiling her, are you?) Go ahead, I'm not jealous.
:) I must say, however, what about inviting ME to the Ritz???

This thread has been started as mentioned in "The Incredibly Boring Thread".

I'll start off with mentioning that I just moved into a new house. I finally have the accessible bathroom that I've wanted/needed for 20 months now. It also has an exercise room (in need of some equipment), a home theater room, and a back yard with a waterfall, stream, pond, patio, fire pit, etc.

Maybe I can upload some photos later. I know Ed, I still haven't posted any photos of my Marvel chair.

Great!! Congrats mate!

Something interesting for you... (Because I can't be bothered to find the boring thread) ... I've just sold my sofa and chairs meaning that I now have a very empty lounge (aside from my huge bean bag).

It's fantastic!! So much space, so easy to get around the room.

Do I really need to get another sofa just for others to sit on?

Why bother? Fill it up with car parts and let THEM find something to sit on. Much more fun and interesting.

Did he end up in the chair because he was doing stunts like that with a car/bike/bicycle/skateboard? The guy is crazy. Looks like he's a para - he'd better be careful or he'll end up as a quad.
