Hello

I am using the m 12 alber emotion system (it's the older pre-2008 version).

The wheels keep cutting out on rough terrain and hills etc. I took them into the shop yesterday where I was told that the battery contacts inside the wheel hubs were bent and kinked. To replace on both wheels would cost in excess of £500 which I decided against doing as I'm hoping to push with standard wheels long-term.

Apparently these contacts do get bent over time especially when not stored properly in transit.

Has anyone else had this issue? I was wondering whether it would be possible to bend the contacts back into the correct positions using pliers or something?

Thanks
j
