Hi All,
I had disc herniation about 4 years ago and am now on temporaray disability due to the disc compressing and imposing itself into the spinal cord at L-3, L-4. It is labeled stenosis now and am wondering if anyone has any answers as to whether or not surgery helps this condition, and if no surgery is performed, what is the liklihood of paralysis. I have leg weakness and numbness, especially when I sit, and am earful the vertebrae sitting on top one another mey do permanant injury to the SC.
Thank you,
Melissa05
