Sorry, once again I've fallen off the face of the Earth. Just wanted to give you guys an update.

So far I'm doing really well. The babies are great, although I had a couple of scares last week and the week before. Both times I had some bleeding and the last time it was a lot ... I thought I was having a miscarriage. Hubby & I both went to the ER at like 3:00 in the morning and I was sooo scared. I knew I probably wasn't having a miscarriage because I wasn't cramping or in pain just lots of blood. They did an ultrasound and both babies looked great. They both measured on target and were moving around ... hearts beating away, it was a beautiful sight. The doctors think that because of the blood thinners I'm on and the fact that I'm having twins, I will bleed when the babies push up against each other and my placenta. Whew.

My morning sickness has finally ended (knock on wood), and I ended up loosing close to 10 pounds with all the constant barfing. I'm 14 weeks right now and hoping everything goes smoothly from here on out. I have another ultrasound scheduled for August 10th and I can't wait to see the kiddos again. Until then hubby & I purchased a doppler to hear the heartbeats, can't wait to get it in the mail!

Anyway, I'm doing great and hope everyone else is too! Now that I'm not barfing all the time I promise to be around more ... :D

Oh good luck with it - its so worth it its unbelievable. My wife had our daughter 5 weeks ago tomorrow.

The time's gone so quick already it only seems like a couple of weeks.

Good luck with 2 of them - are you going to find out the sex at the next scan or wait to see what comes along?

I'm so happy they said the babies are OK! :head_brick_wall-1:

So does this mean they took you off the blood-thinners? Generally speaking most women are over the morning sickness & is done by the end of the 1st trimester......so you shouldn't have to worry about it coming back.

Let us know what kind of frosting those cupcakes you're baking will have......pink or blue.

Still on the blood thinners, and will probably be until right before I give birth. As for the morning sickness it came back a couple of days ago - totally unexpected ... ug. I've also been getting headaches in the afternoons. I think it's because I'm getting dehydrated, so I'm trying to drink more water and juices. Feeling pretty good today, let's hope it lasts! :wink05:
