Sad to say that that chair model is prone to problems. I just got one Tuesday and the power functions all seem underpowered and easy to break. They only have a 1year warranty and are very costly to repair. I only got this model because I fit perfect behind the steering wheel of my van and I will be driving soon.

I recommend you take it to the people you got it from for repairs.

Does it tilt right from the joystick panel, does it also have a toggle switch box?
If you can find where the wiring harness attaches to the tilt motor, have someone disconnect it, rig a 12 volt car battery to it to see if the motor works.....

I believe only the wheel drive motors are 24 volt........
