My husband had a stage 4 bedsore on his tailbone and then had a skin flap surgery in January. Ever since the skin flap, there has been a small hole about the size of 1 1/2 centimeters that just would not heal. We tried everything!! For 7 months that hole has been open and even got infection in it and hospitalized my husband in June. We started considering surgery on this small hole, but I decided to give the manuka honey a try as a last resort before having surgery. And sure enough, it only took 5 days and the hole was closed!!!! And now 5 more days later, it is still closed! Our wound care doctor is amazed and I just wanted to let everyone know that it really worked for us! We used Manuka honey Active 16+. I just went to google and shopped for the best price. We bought the Wedderspoon brand. For anyone who has an open wound, you should give this a try. We were skeptical, but now we know that it really does work!
