Hello everyone, well the time has come and our reno is started. We are adding a 20-26ft addition to the back of our house. All the framing is done. As well as roof, siding, doora and windows. Just waiting for the basement floor to be poured. Oh ya a basement addotion as well under the room. This is adding 1000 sft to our home. My questions are do you think I need a heat light in the bathroom? The bathroom is 7-20ft. Half bathroom and half laundry. We will have a 4-5 roll in shower with 2 lights. Lots of shelves for shampoo etc. Laundry area has low window and we will have front loading washer/dryer. I also found a wall mounted ironing board that is tucked away behind a door when not in use. Lots of reachable plugs. Roll under vanity/sink. A four foot linen closet with shelves. Ceramics through out the room/shower. Am I missing anything?? the bedroom is 16-13ft. Lots of room to roll around. Two closets, one is 8-1/2ft and the other is 4 ft. Planning for hubby to have the top and me the bottom of the closets. Remote control ceiling fan, and lots of pot lights. We have planned this addition for over a year and a lot of thought has gone into it. I worry that I'm forgetting something. It suits me now but I think 20 years down the road....will I wish I did something different. HELP....

Oh the bedroom floors are going to be maple hardwood!

Thanks, Norma :wheelchair:

You're gonna love having hardwood floors. I forget how much I hate carpet until I'm over at a friend's who has it :wheelchair:

Hardwood floors are great.......unless of course you fall out of your chair or something. Hardwood floors are great for getting around though.
