  • Spinal Injury Level / Relationship:T3 Complete

Posted 16 August 2009 - 03:58 PM

My friend recently got discharged from the hospital he is a t3 complete. He has some previous brain injury in his sub arachnoid but that has since cleared up. since coming home he gets these splitting headaches that feel like stabbing all over his head. And they are increasing in frequency and intensity. On the initial onset it is the most intense but then slowly dulls to a bearable pain. We took him to the emergency room and the doctors said it might be his brain cells spasming (more likely they dont know). His brain isnt bleeding which is good, they ruled him out for autonomic dysreflexia.. We are going to consult another physician tomorrow.

Has anyone had this issues as well. Splitting headaches, cold sweats, stabbing sensation, normally all over his head that dulls....Ive noticed he burps and then feels a little better...Also he has to sit up to feel better as well. Any experience or help would be so very much appreciated. Thanks.
