I am C-4/C-5 Quad, 9 years post-injury. I have been experiencing excruciating pain in my legs for the past 4-5 years. Here is a short list of the meds that I have experimented with, trying to relieve this pain: Darvocet, Zyprexa, Klonopin, Neurontin, Methadone 20mg, Actiq lozenges 400mg, Avinza 60mg and 90mg, Metanx, Lyrica 900mg, Morphine Sulfate solution 40mg, Nucynta 100mg. I tried MS Contin, Opana, Hydrocodone and Roxicodone, but had adverse reactions. And the pain still persists. From there I went to a Medtronic Neurostimulator. At first I saw good results, but eventually that could not tame the pain. Now my doctor is asking me to consider a Medtronic Pain Pump. Does anybody have any experiences, good or bad, that you can share?
