Back in April I was prescribed two medications that we thought I needed to have, but then a few days after being at home, we realized I didn't need them. One is to stop itching from the pain meds (but I never did itch), and one is to help nausea. I only took one of the anti-nausea pills, and they tasted horrible, so I never took another one. For the itching pill, I just took it because everyone told me to, but I really didn't need it.

But yea, I have two full pill bottles. How do I dispose of them properly?

Thanks!

Send 'em to the Dawg. He'll find 'em a good home. :specool:

But if that doesn't appeal to you, take them to any pharmacy for disposal. (At least - that's how it works over here.)

Does your local authority recycle waste water? Your way, you could end up taking the meds anyway, along with everyone else's. :)

Any of the above,,, with the exception of flushing. Let the Pharmacist dispose of them along with the stuff he has that goes out of date,,, down HIS toilet,,,, at least then you will have a clear conscience.

Dave had a pretty good idea,,, they won't be barfing and scratching in class, the rest of the students will appreciate it.

Pour pills into small buckets of quick drying cement; mixing well, make door stops out of them; oh paint them purdy colours so people don't stub their toes...that's kinda complicated aint it, pharmacist is prob best :D

Don't mean to state the obvious but flushing meds isn't good for the environment.
Any pharmacy will take them, and if they don't know (which I doubt) then ask them who will.
