Yes data tag and immobi tag are both fited between the two skins of carbon fibre seat and then the seat is bonded as a one piece unit.
Proof that it does work as they have both micro-chips were scanned .
Both responded with correct details.
I hope this answers your question.
Highly recommended if you can afford it and get it proffesionally fitted so it is out of sight but all that is seen is warning stickers so only the owner of the product know where these items are hidden.

Thanks.

I am stuck in and can not get due to my local borough council taking far to long to re-house me in wheelchair adapted accomodation as the accomodation i am in at present is not wheelchair adapted with no wide opening door ways.So that's the reason why the flame chair is more of a ornament than a wheelchair.

If you thoughly read my profile you will understand.

In re-gards to your question i have not had a license since my accident 1st august 2007 and my partner has no confidence behind the wheel due to what happened two weeks ago and still recovering.

I hope this end's the personal interigation as i have not once asked you such a question since i came totally clean to forum.

So what is the issue or problem you have with me and the use of this forum.

If there is one get it out in the open or remain quiet.

I merely asked you what other means of leg transport do you have while you can't sit in the flame chair

Not really a personal or an offensive question.

Your reply was that you are *stuck in* .. but what I meant was.. not your home.. what chair are you *stuck in*

Ems,

i sincerely appologise for getting the wrong end of the stick at present i am on full remote controlled armchair designed solely for my needs ,then it's onto a transfer board then onto wet-room portable toilet seat with side handle supports this is the high version with supported handles on either side for which carers and district nurses use for my personel hygiene until my colostomy bag is fitted. Then my quality of life will improve with no more imbarrassments or loss of dignity any more.

But can not let the past haunt yourself when you know there is light at the end of tunnel.

Once again i personally appologise.

"Sorry" for any offence or embarassment this has caused yourself.

So far have just totalled all of my reciepts and the totaliser has exceeded £30,000:00.

Do i have regrets, yes big time.
This man may of made a version of a wheelchair.
But it like saying if it does not work, fix it yourself properly.
So far there have by the time this wheelchair is finished some 40 other proffesional companies to put right what was wrong.
God know's what the finished cost will be as there are still 6 thing's left to do.

And the pocket mountain will be getting bigger as there still is:-

to make this a usable wheelchaiar.
1. Local engineering company billet made in polished stainless steel bar end adapters, foot plate brackets finished in 30% satin finish black powder coat , waist belt fitting kit finished in 30% satin finish black powder coat and waist belt securely fitted.
2. Snobs ultimate customs "custom made rear fender in polished chrome in flame style".
3. Arlen ness chrome finished flame grips.
4. Tracking system with anual subscription.
5. Rebuilt front wheels.
Rgk 24" inch aluminum rubber coated push rims 6 (tab).
Loctite 243 lock 'n' seal.
Continental high pressure rim tape.
Continental rim cement.
Kenda kt38t 24" x 1.5 - 2.2 Schrader car valve , wall thickness 4.3Mm , thorn resistant inner tubes.
Slime inner tube sealant.
Slime tube and tyre protector liner.
Kenda pkt 382w kniption tyres 24" x 2.3.
6. Eco-led custom made 9" inch water-proof 12volt led strip lights for show's / stand's / photo-graphs.

Then it is job finished, then a usable finished wheelchair, finished at long last.

Hope-fully all done with-in 4 weeks.

Then pic's will be posted .

TO OTHER BUYERS BEWARE MY TOTAL COST'S WITH PROBLEMS THROUGH BAD UNTESTED ENGINEERING
I COULD HAVE BOUGHT 3 WHEELCHAIRS
ASK YOURSELF WHAT THE AFTER SALES SERVICE IS LIKE ONCE YOU HAVE PAID AND GONE

SO FAR HAVE JUST TOTALLED ALL OF MY RECIEPTS AND THE TOTALISER HAS EXCEEDED £30,000:00
DO I HAVE REGRETS, YES BIG TIME
THIS MAN MAY OF MADE A VERSION OF A WHEELCHAIR
BUT IT LIKE SAYING IF IT DOES NOT WORK, FIX IT YOURSELF PROPERLY

This story has got me scratching my head. Maybe I missed something.

This is the gist of it as I see it,

Buy a Trekinetic wheelchair.
Don't like it.
Regret it
Warn other people against buying one because of huge long list of design problems.
Then spend 30,000 pounds on it like it's the best thing you've ever owned.

I dunno, maybe its just me, but thats a pretty expensive point to make.

I bought one, it's useful. But if I knew then what I know now, I'd probably buy the crossfire.
When I'm more financial I'll probably sell it (for the price it should be) and get a crossfire.

That seems counter productive. Use the money you would use to buy the crossfire to make the Trekinetic more to your liking....

From the sounds of it, it's like putting lipstick on a pig. When your done it's still going to be a pig. Or if you like better, shining a turd so it sparkles, but it still smells like shit and you don't really want to touch it.

To be honest I'm completely and totally confused why the amount of money has been spent on this chair. There is no way that you will be able to do enough to it to make it that much different and sounds like a complete and total waste, yet from the sounds of it money is no barrier. Yet it must be because of the wait for the local council to find him an accessible place to live. The amount of money spent on this chair would have been a damn good start on finding a place, paying for a place, making a place accessible. Again I'm completely confused.

I have a hard time believing that to make this a usable chair it absolutely has to have

"1. LOCAL ENGINEERING COMPANY BILLET MADE IN POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL BAR END ADAPTERS, FOOT PLATE BRACKETS FINISHED IN 30% SATIN FINISH BLACK POWDER COAT , WAIST BELT FITTING KIT FINISHED IN 30% SATIN FINISH BLACK POWDER COAT AND WAIST BELT SECURELY FITTED.
2. SNOBS ULTIMATE CUSTOMS "CUSTOM MADE REAR FENDER IN POLISHED CHROME IN FLAME STYLE"
3. ARLEN NESS CHROME FINISHED FLAME GRIPS
4. TRACKING SYSTEM WITH ANUAL SUBSCRIPTION
5. REBUILT FRONT WHEELS
RGK 24" INCH ALUMINUM RUBBER COATED PUSH RIMS 6 (TAB)
LOCTITE 243 LOCK 'N' SEAL
CONTINENTAL HIGH PRESSURE RIM TAPE
CONTINENTAL RIM CEMENT
KENDA KT38T 24" X 1.5 - 2.2 SCHRADER CAR VALVE , WALL THICKNESS 4.3mm , THORN RESISTANT INNER TUBES
SLIME INNER TUBE SEALANT
SLIME TUBE AND TYRE PROTECTOR LINER
KENDA PKT 382W KNIPTION TYRES 24" X 2.3
6. ECO-LED CUSTOM MADE 9" INCH WATER-PROOF 12volt LED STRIP LIGHTS FOR SHOW'S / STAND'S / PHOTO-GRAPHS"

Of course this is just the final list of things to make it finished. Personally I don't see one thing that it has to have to make it usable and since when did not having a polished chrome flame job on the rear fender make something unusable?

After being some where with a lot of parents and a lot of kids which equals a lot of parents pushing strollers, i finally figured out what the Trekinetic reminds me of. A human size stroller.

Trekinetic is like dick turpin who robs money from those less fortuate than himself and gives it all to his own bank account.

A baby stroller has to under go very stringent testing and safety tests to be issued with the british standards kite mark for safety.

As for 19" wide trekinetic "no comment".

As you don't mind stating how much you've paid in total, how much did you pay Trekinetic, and how much did you feel you had to pay out since, to make it "A USABLE FINISHED WHEELCHAIR"?

i had to settle for a standard version but if i had this individuals bank balance i think mr mike spindle of trekinetics would be very busy creating great master pieces
i hppe and respect this put to rest what mr mike spindle has created for one of his clients with an un-mentionable amount money
this is not only a great trekinetic k2

hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!

Sorry greybeard,

i had paid £4999.99 For the nineteen inch trekinetic with all option extra's available.

Then the night-mares started and bills mounted as the customer service was non-existant due to arrogance, got ya money, now i have a problem tell some one that is bothered as i am not.

In regards to chief executive "simon" a very major lesson learnt.

I got burned.

That seems counter productive. Use the money you would use to buy the crossfire to make the Trekinetic more to your liking....

I don't feel like making my life more complicated than it is.
If I employed engineers to make the Trekinetic more to my liking it would probably end up looking somethimg like a Crossfire.
My main problem with the Trekinetic is it's bloody hard to transfer into from the drivers seat of my car, by 'bloody hard' I mean impossible.

This my biggest ever regret, not listening to respectfull members of the apparalzed forum .

I got bar-b-qed and burned at the stake, the money mountain looks more like a small hill. If i had listened i would of saved £1,500:00 with no problem and excellent customer service.

The top end cross fire all terrain wheelchair has a excellemt record for reliabiliability.

Genuine example if you do not listen to respectful forum members comments you will be burned. I got burned that bad it was like being hit by a express freight train at high speed. A hard lesson learnt from a former stubborn individual thinking i knew it all. A word of advice if you do listen to respectfull forum members.
Then you are on own and the financial concequenes are very severe, from a former stubborn individual with a very bad attitude.
Now respecting every member of this forum, respect is earned not given, should you you not listen listen to any one then you will out casted by every body as a non respectfull member.

I have since put my hands up in shame, and paid for my punishment financially. To chief executive "simon" and all forum members you all have my upmost respect , but i am aware to earn the respect from forum members will take time to earn, due to my stubborn foolish attitude towards you all in the past.

I am sincerely sorry and appologise to all members of this forum, so we can draw a line in the sand, start a fresh new page.

From a reformed and respectfull member of the forum who respects all other user's of this forum.

Don't beat yourself up about it. We can all be stubborn at times and think we know best but the majority of us don't admit our mistakes like you did. Put it in the past, I'm sure no-one bears a grudge. Welcome back.

i know the owner of this wheelchair, and the way the director took his money was one thing, but since he has put every thing right what mike spindle failed on .
it is now discoverved he sells the wheelchair with out motability safety certication so can not travel in vehicle as has not tested safely and with out that certicate. i ask the question why is this individual nike spindle selling a product that has no crash worthiness safety certificate. it like selling motorbike with no wheels.
why does this go on where in a industry safety paramount.
