What sort of pants do the guys here like? i usually ear jeans, loose fitting but find the heavy denim is starting to irritate.I must admit I am a bit of a fashionista and have tried the military look cargo pants made of cotton that are OK but i would like some more choices other than denim

My husbands lives in windpants. Not the "swishy" kind. We've found that a large in either Nike or Addidas is long enough in the torso to come up in the back so that his butt isn't hanging out.........

I started wearing pj's in the hospital and I still do for most of the morning. During the summer I wear jeans and Dockers. When the weather cools I add sweats to the mix.
I wonder how cargo pants would be - my son lives in them (literally...eeewww). It seems like the pockets would help hide our skinny paraplegic legs. If I ever get caught up on my medical bills (or find a job) I'll have to give it a try.

Although I was told jeans aren't the best type of pants to wear due to the welt seam that sits right square on your coccyx, I tend to preffer them anyways. I also like cargo shorts in summer & sweat pants in the winter, but jeans are an all year long thing.

OK Dog....... now you are makin' me laugh. I pretty much wear water shoes all the time. They are softer than tennies, have no laces (just slip on), have tread on the bottom for traction when transferring and cost almost nothing ($7.99 at Sportsmart).

Sweats or cords in the winter and cargo-type in summer. Fond of elastic waistband rather than belt.

I know many people in wheelchairs tend to like longer length pants/jeans because of the leg bend etc. But I have a shorter leg because of my disability. So I need a shorter length pant/jean and have a hard time finding them without having to go to a tailor...
