I've noticed since Brady's been home the way he eats has changed a lot. He was the type who never stopped eating before, now he eats but not a 1/4 of what he use to. it also seems like his taste buds have changed somewhat.
Have others had this happen?

Not really with Duke, but him cutting back on eating is not necessarily a bad thing. Duke didn't eat as much right after the injury, but within a few months he was got his appetite back. Brady may have cut back initially from stress and the initial injury itself, but with time his appetite will increase. He just needs to recognize when he is full (because he can't feel a full stomach anymore) so he will have to listen to his head

I have experienced this since getting out of hospital. I can't eat as much as I used to in a normal setting, maybe 1/2 as much as I used to. I also find eating dinner beyond 5pm a problem as I then feel sluggish and bloated the rest of the evening, so I eat something larger for lunch as much as I can, and something like cereal for dinner. I don't know whether this is because of the injury or the 'institutionalisation' you get in hospital, with your meals at weird and early times etc. Its not something I worry about though, if I feel fuller sooner and I don't eat as much I don't really see it as a bad thing.

I notice that I eat less than I used to, but I am also less active. I wouldn't worry about him eating less unless he starts wasting away. It takes a while for your body to adjust to its new state.

Myssa,
Don't worry to much yet regarding his eating habbits. Especially since he's still a newer injury. The more active he'll be, the more he'll eat.
As for the taste buds, if he's on any pain meds, that may also deaden the senses somewhat.
