Here here. Unfortunately for me, I bought a brand new matress the year of my accident. I've always liked 'em hard and firm. (Hey now, we're still on the matress subject, so don't go reading into things here).

So afterwards, I just bought a 2" thick memory foam top for around $100.00, more or less. Now I'm not as worried about the possibility of pressure sores.

Got a hospital style elec bed with repose air materess. Being able to alter the materess angle / position is great, but the humming of the air pump gets to you at 3 / 4 in the morning.

funny story... I had just gotten out of the hospital from a muscle flap and I had a temporary plug-in air mattress, which by the way I hated it, anyway a storm came and the electricity went out. My mom and stepdad were in the living room and then all of a sudden they hear me screaming "I'm deflating I'm deflating" LOL.

I'm so ready to get a new mattress!
