Anyone else get this??

It just hits me don’t know why this happens but it does often at least a couple of times a month. its like someone flipped a switch and I am worse all over mobility very restricted in home use walls/stick for support oh guess now time to use trolley occupational therapist left here. I shuffle along, feel in great discomfort all over like the bowel/bladder spasms that affect me all over but almost instantaneous and for no reason it just comes over me, I shiver internally have waves of pins and needles sweep through my body neck down, pain all over, feel anxious, rough don’t know what to do with myself etc to get comfortable it’s like someone has just increase my spasticity in all limbs by double or treble. Even lifting my arms is hard work the lead weights have been increased it bad doing this. please tell me if you have this and what or why??

For me I certainly notice an increase in pain and spasms if I am really tired, for example after several bad nights sleep and/or over doing it with work and social life. I don't have a decrease in my mobility or ability or anything like that just but my levels of uncomfortableness rise considerably. May be try and keep a diary or something and see if you can pin point a trigger, possibly a certain 'time of the month' certain food, constipation etc.

I get the mobility restriction - as though my legs are three inches too short and on backwards (they weren't - I checked).
Always when I am tired / constipated / suffering a bug / stressed. Like Trinity says - might be worth keeping a few records to see what relates.

Yes,,,, I figured it was just that I'm getting old,, but aside from the pain,, it is like you said,, heavy,, like I doubled in weight somehow.
I'm going thru one of them, now,,, hope It doesn't last much longer.

I like the idea of keeping a diary,,, but I've been trying,,, unsuccessfully,,, for years, and never keep it up for more than two or three days,, again, that getting old thing I guess.

It feels a little like when I have a really bad UTI,, except without the fever,,, or the bugs ( I've checked).

Are you guys telling me that this ISN'T something we all get???

My wife, who has quite severe fibromyalgia, and I both notice we have more pain etc when there is a sudden change in air pressure. I've looked at the barometric forecast charts and there definitely seems to be a correlation with the degree of discomfort. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, but perversely so it seems I feel a lot more uncomfortable when its warm and humid in the summer rather than the cold weather.

I don't find that perverse at all. It could be because cold weather is often associated with high pressure systems in the UK. It seems to make some sort of sense that joint pain, for example, increases with the depressions that bring the warm moist weather, as the naturally occurring trapped gas in the joint capsules expands.

Yeah man,........'joint' gas is definitely associated with a high, and my body feels all heavy but my head is really floatylike. :head_brick_wall-1:

You know what - that makes sense.
I've a couple of friends with fibro and they're always worse when the weather changes.

Hi Guys Gosh some of your comments made laugh! [joint and gas!!] Yea I am trying to keep a diary but it gets a bit tedious and ooh hghlights too many crap days! Its not a constipation or bladder thing as I have those spasms frequently. Maybe time of month thing is possible and my age ie heading towards menopause or something could be valid. ANY OTHER FEMALES NOTICE worsening of symptoms overall around that time of month as so eloquently put my chap above!

Would be interested to know. Yea I definately feel worse and get the shivers type thing waves of pins and needles when tired , feel cold even if its really hot etc.

Thanks again. NICE TO KNOW I am not alone
