Bowel Incontinence-mattress With Bed Pan Insert

Hola! My brother had a botched surgery which has caused him to have several accidents a week, day and night, and he doesn't have live-in care. I was wondering if anyone has tried using one of those mattresses that has a hole cut out that you insert a bed pan into, for times when attendant care is not available?
