:type: Hi, I have a Medtronic Pain Pump and I have been having a few problems with some of the meds the doc has been putting in. I found out the hard way that these meds get into the spinal fluid and up into the brain. Apparently there are different levels with different meds and dosages. I had been having some side affects after 2 years or so. My memory is getting pretty bad and my word finding is a real problem. I thought it was other things and after a lot of other doctors, tests, and experiments it turns out its my pump. Also now a new drug was added that puts me in a state of sleep that I have a hard time getting out of, no matter where I am. I thought I was going crazy.
Does anyone else have any such problems or does anyone have any information on where to find info. on Intrathecal Pain Pump Medications and their side affects. :blushing02: :)
Thanks June
