On the 6th is my FIVE YEAR not dead birthday - every year I celebrate my not dying but some how five years seems more important than others. Not sure why.
Unfortunately the 6th is also a day where I have work in the morning and a course until 20:00 so am going to be wanting to do nothing more than sleep. Poot.
I was going to have a huge party - but the epidural muck up meant that I wasn't well enough to do anything about it until time was too late (I don't have that many friends either so by huge we mean - one huge bouncy castle that we can all fit on). So instead this coming Saturday I want to go out somewhere / do something.... special / fun / just plain silly.

Off limits are - tank driving, pain balling, pain balling in tanks, and go-karting.
Unfortunately my friends have threatened to have me sedated if I try any of these.

Plans so far are to: have a meal with friends on the Friday / Saturday night.

I haven't got a clue what we could do in the day time which is why I need your superior brains and HELP!!!!

Can anyone come up with something please? I can't think of anything interesting happening around here (nothing new on this part).

Thank you x

As a NOT DEAD party, why not go out for Halloween dressed as skelletons? At least you'll get a few DESERVED looks. Then, who knows . . . maybe even some free drinks! It is celebrated as the day of the dead, is it not?

Aside from that, any other suggestions can still be done, WITH the costumes.

Have fun.

I have a feeling that dressing up as a ghost to celebrate the fact that I didn't die is not going to go down well with mummy!!

Found out a few hours ago that a friend died today. He was hit by a car whilst out walking yesterday so the whole not dead celebrations is being carefully dusted under the carpet. I still hope to go out somewhere with my partner on Saturday though.

Clara, perhaps a simple romantic candle lit dinner for two, celebrate being alive, being together, maybe a piano bar/lounge...enjoy, relax, reflect...

Sorry about your friend's death...celebrate each day, breathe, we never know what the next moment might bring.

Take Care Clara,

Jerry
