so I've been noticing that my spox wheels are kind of peeling on the spokes, im not sure whats causing this, does this just mean there getting old?

Over time, impacts tear the coating off the carbon centers. I've got the same issue. I'm pretty rough on my wheels. You can order more spokes online and have them put in and balanced at a high-end bicycle shop.

The offending spokes just need replacing, and if you're in the UK, it's cheaper to get them sent from the US, plus the guys at Spinergy included the necessary tool for free rather than charging £3.50 like here in the UK.

A guy at my gym who has the same problem with his spokes. I've noticed it seems to be hit and miss with the peeling, some people have it happen, others don't. I guess it depends on your lifestyle and how hard you are on your chair, how much time you spend outdoors, etc. Sportaid has replacement spokes for something like $12 a spoke. They are a pain to replace though. Take them to a bike shop that is familiar with Spinergy.

Yea I've broken a couple of mine and had to replace it, not so much as a pain as ya don't know if you have them true after your down. Every one of my spokes have spots like that on em.
