hi my partner is tetraplegic c4/5. He suffers with chest infections but has a phobia of hospitals. He is poorly at the mo i was just wondering wether or not it is possible for him to have intravenus antibiotics at home as these always seem to do the trick. Any advice would be great thanks lou.

Hi Lou....
I've known two people who've had in-home antibiotic treatments for Lyme's disease, so I'm assuming it could be done in your partner's situation as well. (?)
One of the two people actually self-IV'd when necessary....the other received in-home nursing care anyway, due to having cancer.
It would be worth checking out with his Dr. or local home nursing agencies.
Best Wishes,
