Tendon Transfer Surgery

i am a c6/c7 incomplete and i am raising money to have a tendon transfer surgery to regain some use of my hand. has anyone been through it?

I am C5 complete and have had two tendon transfers. They have have greatly improved my quality of life. I am able to fully extend my arms and can turn over my hands but I'm assuming you can already do those things. What are you hoping to regain?
