Hi Folks:

My 27 year old Korean former student was shot in Houston, TX on 7/4/08 and is now paraplegic. Because he is not a US resident, or citizen, he is not getting any money from the state or federal government. Any suggestions of resources I can check out for him.
Thanks
Carole

In texas he may get medcaid ,just need to get someone around the TX Health departments. As for MEDICARE I am not sure if they will pay since but soc.gov or if anyone can wheel him to any soc offices.I am not very learned about how these 2 programs work ,so i could be wrong but its worth a try.
