Does anyone remember a game called Motor City Online? T'was a fully online racing roleplaying type game between 2001 and 2003. Now the're coming out with World Online. As long as it's not all jap crap cars and the typical 'transmission upgrade 1' 'motor upgrade 2' shit the EA has slipped into, ie not a game for yuppie retards who couldn't fix their lunch, I'll probably check it out.

Just out of curiosity, would anyone here play a game like that? Last month I was throwing around a simaler idea only with off road rally type cars. Mind you, before I even get into the multiplayer online type stuff, I wanna make sure I have a good grasp on everything else, which means learn scripting better and get some good ai worked out. Plus get my timecycle script fixed.

Ratman, check out iRacing, the latest in online racing. Lots of cars and tracks, there is a racing community/blog, plus a few professional racers are using it to practice/learn various tracks around the world; from dirt to the hybrid 24hr cars series. To play it requires a PC, steering wheel and foot peddles...hmmm, I use my quadie hands to drive a van...who knows :P

Will do Jerry. I used to have a wheel, but I hated it. Used it once then stuck it somewhere. No force feedback.
