It's also the law to slow down to 60k when passing emergency vehicles, which INCLUDES tow trucks! $250 fine minimum, yet morons still don't pay attention

That's TV paralysis for you, last week on Holby City (UK medical soap) one of the nurses has a SCI and couldn't walk, had spinal surgery, and was told she may never walk again. This week she's walking fine with crutches. Shame really, they could have made so much more of the story. Oh well

There's an episode of Lost where one of the main characters is in the hospital after suffering an SCI. No back brace, etc. A male nurse comes in, picks him up and plops him in a wheelchair. Yeah, writers did a lot of research on that scene.

Shove that sucker right up into a warm wet rag.
Soften the tissue and start digging away at it with an exacto knife.
When ya got it completely screwed up, come back for directions to a hand specialist, yer gonna need one.

Why do stars fall out of the sky when I walk by?

I'm thinkin' maybe the end is here. Can someone help with this?

I wasn't. It sounds like you have a whitlow. If you don't get it sorted, it is going to get VERY painful. See a doctor.

Okay guys....

What I want to know is..when I log on I can see the names of members who are also logged on. There is a tally of the number of members and also of guests. I notice that some are anonymous members.

There just used to be the odd one but now I see there are ususly a couple or even 3 members who don't want other members to see they are logged on...so it's a bit of a two in one question..

1) Why would someone want to be logged in without the others seeing they are.

2) Why does the site have that facility.. I post on another site, not rteated to this one and if you are logged on **stars appear next to your name and you don't hve a choice.

Hey CR, I'm with you man. Just think, it's going to be worth it to alleviate some of the pain. I've actually got past the worry part and I'm looking forward to the surgery and a better life ahead.

Good luck!

What I want to know is:
Is it true that our pet dogs train us just as much as we train them?
Examples - Their demands for attention never fail. All they have to do is rest a head or a paw on your knee, and we stroke them. If they look pathetic, we pet them. If they lurk near their goodies cupboard, they invariably get a treat. They tell us when it's time to go out, and we usually respond. etc., etc. They do it pretty good, don't they? :D

My cat c.c (cookies-n-cream) is acting strange? It started on the 29th around 11 pm.
I opened a can of tuna for her and set it down in front of her and she did not want it?
I then looked at her a lil and noticed she didnt look right?
So i picked her up and loved on her a bit.
Then i set her down and as she walked she was really wobbly and stumbly the best way to describe it (and please dont think im joking in any way im very serious) she walked as if she was drunk?

She is still acting the same way also she acts as if she is cold? For example she wants to be by the dryer or curled up onon a blanket....she even layed on a towel i had just ironed on?
now she isnt eating at all BUT she is drinking water and quite a bit...

She is really weak and sleeps constantly. But is responsive and does still want to be pet?
Im not sure what is wrong with her Im really really worried I actually liked this cat! A LOT!

If the cat is not eating at all and drinking lots of water you need to take it to a vet today, so they can work out the problem. The drinking a lot of water is usually a sign of something: could be diabetes or a number of other things. Girlfriend is a vet (but not here at the moment, so can't ask her) but the thing that she finds hardest is when clients bring their animals in, who clearly have something wrong with them, and when she asks, when did it start, they say rather innocently, oh about 4 days, or 2 weeks, or whenever, ago. Be kind and responsible to your pet and have her checked out, please. Hopefully it'll be nothing major or easily treatable, but let's be sure.
