I'm starting up a project to customize my wheelchair...because I'm a geek and I find such things amusing. :P I'm looking to put in LED's in the wheel spokes, maybe some sort of light bar across the back. I haven't decided yet. What I'm curious about is whether anyone has stumbled across a site that offers products specifically for this purpose, or if I'll be custom building stuff. It's just a little surprising that I can't find anyone who is customizing wheelchairs as a business. Has anyone out there had better luck finding anything?

I do not know if this is what you are looking for, but here is one site that sells bling type: www.medserviceseurope.com. For example, a wheelchair light, wheelchair reflectors, wheelchair spoke guards, etc.

Admin Note: New Disability is connected to Medserviceeurope.
My company designs and develops accessories for manual wheelchairs. If you have any suggestions or questions, please PM me. www.newdisability.com
