My name is Lucas Brown and in July of 2000 I was in a motorcycle wreck that left me with a C-5/6 spinal cord injury. I am currently an undergraduate student at Lamar University and participating in the McNair Scholar’s Program. I am working on a research paper concerning the different administrations of the prescription drug Baclofen. The project is being overseen by Dr. Judith Mann, an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department. This study has been approved by the Lamar University Institutional Review Board.

We are recruiting two populations of participants. [Population 1] The first are people who have a traumatic spinal cord injury and regularly consume Baclofen in either the oral (by mouth) or intrathecal (via a Baclofen pump) forms, as well as the combination. [Population 2] The second are people who have a traumatic spinal cord injury and do not consume any antispasmodic medication for treatment of muscle spasms. For both groups you must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

If you choose to participate, click the appropriate link below (or cut and paste it into the address bar) then read the Informed Consent Form before you proceed to the survey.

Nice and quick - finished in under five minutes. ;)
I am a palm tree - I bend, but do not break, in the winds and storms.
