Hi all,
I wasn’t expecting to be posting this soon but the good old NHS is such a load of old shite here I am back home & having a rant :drunk:

I need to let off some steam so I thought this is the place to do it,
First off, what :excl: hole the R.N.O.H is these days not at all how I remember it defiantly gone to the dogs (probably a blessing I didn’t have surgery)
After four days of not knowing what was going on or when they finally prep me Monday morning & got me to sign on the dotted line etc. Then just before I should have gone Mr Noordeen (The Surgeon) inform me that he will not do my fusion because I’m at high risk of getting an infection because I have an indwelling catheter WTF??????????????????????????????

After spending the past ten months torturing myself giving up smoking & doing all the things asked of me, I am no better off then I was before RANT, RANT, RANT,

Mind some good has come out of it, that first fag I smoked yesterday afternoon was the best smoke I’ve had in years & to be honest they still taste as good today, so I’m off to buy a bag of weed & smoke myself into that happy place & tell the world to go screw itself.

God I feel better getting that off my chest.

I use to be indecisive but Im not so sure anymore

So, what's the next step, CR_L1?

Funny, when I was in the hospital, they put me ON an indwelling catheter. Go figure.

I know you must be really p###ed off with that rubbish about your cath CR, but Essex men are made of sterner stuff than people give them credit for.

Don't let them win, by going straight back on the fag's; keep off them and think of your health.
You should also consider the effect it would have on others, if your smoking makes you ill.

Remember what the 'sacked' Government Drugs Adviser said!

"Smoking and Alcohol are worse than Cannabis"... Say no more..... :drunk:

Take care

Mike

Hi Q,
I know & that’s why I through a few F’s into them at the time because they are fully aware of the cath situation & everyone else in there are cath’ed after surgery anyway & the only response I got from them was because I’m at a higher risk of getting an infection…….Beats me

Thanks Scribs,
I know your right about the smoking & I have felt a bit of a prick for starting after so long not having had any, but it was my knee jerk reaction you know, after going through the pain of knocking it on the head to have the OP to then, at last min be refused on such a stupid excuse…..well I think you know where I’m coming from.

Don’t mean to knock your confidence AVO but I can only speak as I find,
You may well be fine others there were but I guess some of that depends on what surgical team you are under.

Wish you the best & hope all goes well for you.
