With all the hype in the media about swine flu, this morning I plucked up the courage and arranged to have the jab to-morrow. But this afternoon I got cold feet and cancelled the appointment, am I a coward or what?
I reckon I will wait and see how the first batch get on, and see if they have any reaction to the vaccine :drunk:
Have any of you been any braver than me?

Because I'm pregnant I got the vaccine while here in the hospital on bed rest. Basically, the vaccine is most important for young children and pregnant women. Also, people with compromised immune systems should get the vaccine. In the meantime just use common sense ... hand washing, sneezing into your elbow stuff like that.

Also, if you're allergic to eggs of any kind they probably wont give you the vaccine because the vaccine is made in eggs. B)

Thanks for that Karen, and good luck with your pregnancy. Hope the sun is shining in California, it is raining here in Ireland. :tease:

Hey Mc Tavish,
There's already a thread right here called H1N1 . . .

Yup, you are a coward.
Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!
