What's everyone's plans for Guy Fawkes Night?

I'm not doing anything tonight but on Saturday I'm off to a huge fireworks display in Alexandra Palace complete with live bands and a German Beer festival.

Should be a fun (if not cold) evening

I've got a big bonfire in my back garden, a huge box of fireworks, and a BBQ to cook for 33 guests on Saturday! Attached Image: bbq.gif

It's going to be a busy night!

Fingers crossed it's going to be a rain free night!

Blowing up all those idiot politicians would be even more fun I suspect, but these days they seem to take a dim view of hobbies like this, and they've have stopped renting out rooms in the basement of the parliament building.

We did this once for some friends visiting from Ashford, Kent. The neighbors just watched and wondered.

Don't start me again GB. I can be a fantasist and I've gone over and over this one so many times in my head. Am sure I'm under constant watch, which means you are all as well now (association with me now, y'see). And the problem about blowing up Parliament these days - quite apart from the fact that it and the Natural History Museum are the finest buildings in London - is that you couldn't be sure of getting them ALL! Too many 2nd homes: become quite a task for one evening (Father Christmas-esque).

Some stupid bint called me up telling me she was feeling really unwell and couldn't make a first aid duty tonight.... with an hours warning!
I spent half an hour on the phone before giving up cancelling my appointments and rushing down to cover the duty myself.

I had an interesting conversation with two members who were in the pub when I called them... as they were sat only four tables away from the now heavily sloshed poorly feeling bint.

I'm not even responsible for organising duty cover!

This is a very unhappy person.
We live in a world so scared of upsetting others feelings that the idiots are allowed to rule. Goodbye intelligence.

Haha. Just this "yank". I just asked my sister if she knew what it was and she was like "DUH!" :)

You should have just hung up on the asshole. Finding a replacement was her problem,, not yours.
