There has been a lot of publicity this year in Australia to celebrate International Day of People with a Disability. The aim this year is to show the extraordinary thing people with disabilities can do with lot of local councils celebrating in some form or another. I will be involved in a corporate wheelchair basketball competition know as Jamm and Slamm to raise money for sporting equipment in my local area for people in wheelchairs, as well as the launch of Australia's newest national sport, Wheelchair Rugby League.

I just want to know what other people are doing thoughout the world the celebrate International Day of People with a Disability or whether you think there should me more publicity etc.
