Did anyone see this show? It's a comedy/drama series currently being shown on Channel 4 in the UK.

It follows a group of disabled people as they try and survive on a deserted island with nothing but a camera crew and some basic essentials.

The group have a mixture of disabilties, but this forum would be most interested in Dan who's paraplegic (appears to be low level).

Dan is played by Peter Mitchell who has been a para since 2002.

I've watched the first two episode and it's actually pretty good. What stands out for me is the quality of the acting; I don't find it at all wooden or stilted, just very realistic and natural.
I'd say it's worth a watch!

I watched the first 2 episode as well and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought they did a good job and there was a healthy dose of realism.

Dan's parents drove me mad though!

For those (in the UK) that missed it you can watch it here

It's shown on a Tuesday and Wednesday night at about 11pm

Dan's dad was a bit of a nightmare, just struggling to come to terms with everything I guess. I did laugh when Dan brought that girl home only for his dad to come out and meet the taxi. The look on his mother's face too!

we thought it was funny...whe we first saw the advert for it, it looked like it was going to be real!! : )
very clever, and although only acting, may dispel a few myths to those who dont know much about disability!

Impossible only describes a problem that needs viewed from a different perspective
