Hi all,

My husband (c6-c7 incomplete) and I are looking on relocating in the next year or so. We currently live in Alberta and are tired of dealing with snow and the issues it creates for him. We are wondering if anyone who lives there, or better yet who has recently moved from Alberta to BC can give us some guidance. He works for a major international company, so job relocation is essentially a non-issue, it's more the day-to-day stuff we're looking at.

The BIG Questions:

Caregivers:
Presently he has care-givers in the morning and evening paid for by Alberta Health Care; we are wondering how that would transition should we move. Any agencies you would recommend? Any that you would avoid at all costs?

Where to Live?
Are there any organizations that can assist us in finding accessible properties to rent or buy? Ideally we would prefer to rent until we become settled.

Tips and Tricks
And other place-specific info you feel would be helpful to us we would sure appreciate receiving.

Thanks so much for your help! :)

KJM

I'm sure you know this already, but your first choice should probably be CPA

We have contacted the CPA but they aren't returning messages. Any other thoughts? Anyone here LIVE in Vancouver or Victoria?
