I have 1 friend, 1 son in w/c's who could use a good Christmas present. I have the material to make a below seat wheelchair pack. On friend has C7 incomplete and could use a below seat and a back of the seat pack. Are there anything special people like about their packs or not like. I have seen some open under seat packs with just a sling solid bottom and side mesh. I have seen zippered back packs. Do folks prefer and open underseat thing? She needs to carry her blood pressure cuff as she is battleing frequent autonomic dys. Throwing a lightweight jacket under would be good. She needs to carry multiple meds.

Thanks

I realize its after Christmas now but in the event you are giving the gift late.... some people like the sling option to store stuff, personally I dont as it gets in the way for loading/unloading my chair and I prefer to have my stuff "in" something and not "on" something. I actually like the backpacks from Wheelchair Gear http://www.wheelchairgear.com/. I have a pack similar to the Mini Pack that I bought at a craft sale and I use that all the time to keep things like my wallet and keys in. I also have a couple of backpacks from that company. I have a Day Cruiser that I use when I travel that is my carry on bag on planes. I also use that when I have day long outings such as mall trips, fairs, etc where I might need a bag. I have a small repair kit and a small tire repair kit that I put in there when I am going to be away from my vehicle all day and lots of wheeling. I also have the Slice in camo color that I keep on my hunting chair. LOTs of room in there and a zipper to keep it closed. There are several small outside pockets for stuff and I can easily fit a couple of coats inside the bag with room to spare. I keep 3 hats, several pairs of gloves, scent pads, bow release, etc inside there and have a lot of extra room.

Hopefully you found something that will work for your friend.
