Got a chance to test ride a new Sit Ski design done by some University of Calgary Engineering students.

They needed a test pilot to give it a ride so I volunteered.

The basis of there project is to design an entry level ski that was way more affordable to the user to allow more uptake in the sport, I have heard $1500-$2000 can. but not 100% sure about the price just know that its going to be less then whats out there.

As a beginner ski it is great, I have been in it 4 times now and they are making changes based on my input, I think thats its pretty close to being ready for production.

Here is a news clip on it.

I've been working on that sit ski and hope to have some ready for sale for the 2012/13 season. The prototype and the rights were purchased by the adaptive snowsport program on Mt. Washington. Once I have more to report I will do so here.
