Hi everybody,
a couple of months ago I posted a topic asking for help. My brother in germany has sudden paraplegia/waist down. I wanted
to say thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your help kept me sane !
My brother has been in rehab for a month or so. And he has made progress ! He can move both his feet and lift one leg.
He also has changed his mind about wanting to die if he can't walk. He can manage the wheelchair, even go up escalators. I am
proud of him ! Of course he is hoping to make more progress. Fortunately his Rehab his covered by his insurance. Unfortunately
not all available therapie is covered. I researched and found the GIGER-MD Therapie. It is widely available in germany but not
covered by insurance.
Thanks again and Happy holidays
Sonja
