Lads and Ladies,
I wanted to take a moment to say that I am sorry for letting the community down twice in as many years. When things got bad, I shut myself off instead of continuing to be here and be part of the community, continuing to help and support people who are new to the issues that we and our families face. I let my own problems get the better of me, and instead of reaching out, I shut down.

I'm sorry. I am going away for a few days, kind of a regenerative trip to re-gather my thoughts, but when I'm back, I promise to be around again, and to work with you all to do what I said I'd do when I signed up: be part of the community and support others.

All the best for the holiday season everyone.
Derek Handley.

Derek,

Each of us comes and goes, no strings, no apologies required. Hope your holidays and new year are fantastic. When you regenerate, refresh, recoup, get your arse back in gear, catch up with the newbies and oldies and give us an update. :licklips:

Be well,

Jerry

I think part of living as a crip is the forming of thick skin... and no not the lovely palm calous. What I mean is that <for me at least> not many things bother me. And if my patience hadn't grown by leaps and bound I'd probably be permanently pissed off. So when things build up enough to get to me it just feels like nothing can go right.

There's an old saying "the bigger they are the harder they fall" and I think this kind of fits this situation, does for me at least. Like Stype said "everybody hurts.....sometimes".

I find getting away for a while to be one of the best things to shake off a funk like this, just kinda helps to see things from a different perspective. Best for me is an awesome sight in nature, helps to remind me how fleeting and insignificant I... and my problems are.

When or if you feel the need to let it out, grumble, complain, or share that epiphany which made it all melt away... I think I speak for most when I say "were here for ya".

Fear not TB,
Your legacy, the "What Are You Listeing To At The Time Of Posting"
thread will live on, whether your here or not!

Until then, we'll keep the light on awaiting your return.
When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained. - Mark Twain
