I'm a bit confused.
I want to go and see Bon Jovi at the O2 centre next June. When you go to buy tickets if you are disabled you have to phone the "dedicated disabled ticket booking line". I must have phoned 30 times over 4 days before it got answered, it just went straight to telling you it was in a queue. I finally got through and booked tickets, if you pay for one your carer gets in free which is fine.

The lady on the booking line said the cheapest ticket she could sell me on any of the 3 days i picked was £215, so i paid it as i was just fed up with trying to sort it out. Then i had a think about it and looked back online, at the O2 website and on there i can book tickets for £51.25.

So howcome i have to pay 4 times the amount because i want to take along my own chair. I understand that the seat in the disabled box are in a good view area but i didnt put them there, its not my choice to be there it just happens that its the only place i can get in and they will let me sit.

I have tried phoning over and over again and in the end have sent them an E-mail "that gets replied to in 48 hours", 5 days later and i am still waiting.

Is it normal to be ripped off and discriminated against just because you want to go to a concert and take your own chair???

I think it is mistake made by the Booking person, may be the person did not check for all available disabled friendly seat. Bon Jovi tickets for June can't be fully booked yet. I have been to O2 for few shows and booked seats on Level4, had no trouble getting the ticket with carer free.

To be where you have never been before

You have to do what you have never done before
