I don't recall reading anything about that being a symptom of SCI. Who knows? Everyone is really different in regards to this kind of injury.

I don't know about facial hair, but I noticed this with my legs. (Sorry if it's disgusting to talk about women leg hair) My right leg is less cooperative than my right. The hair is much finer and it grows slower than lefty also... weird.

Yeah, that wasn't much help probably, and a little disturbing.

That is weird though about facial hair. Has anyone had anything change with their head or face because of their sci?
3 doctors diagnosed me with hysterical paralysis (weee!), 1 diagnosed an incomplete T7, another T2 and the last (and most accurate) T5. Trampolines are BAD. Sleep is unpredictable. And never kiss strangers. Life has moved on.

My knees are now hairy. But I'm sure it's because when I walked/ran pre-injury, it rubbed the hair off.

And, I've just noticed more hair growing out of my ears and nose too!! But, that's just the weather . . . . I think?

Ear and nasal hair seems to be rapidly on the increase, whilst scalp hair seems to be on a rapid retreat!

Facial hair seems to be as per norm, apart from a sudden influx of grey and white ones ! ! !

Please don't say this is just old age creeping in ! ! ! !

In the past 5 mths I have also lost the few hairs off my toes, and the leg hair has now retreated to mid calfs! ?

Could the latter be due to poor circulation and swelling ??

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
