It has been a little over 7 months since Sean's accident. He has been hospitalized ever since. Sunday is his 24th birthday and we are going to attempt to take him for a drive around DC for a few hours. He has surgery scheduled for Tuesday the 12th to finally close the large pressure wound he has. We are hoping his lungs are strong enough for the surgery and that his mind is strong enough for another several weeks on his back. I think we may finally be on the recovery side of this long journey!

Best of luck with the upcoming surgery, I have not had any pressure sores but I have known people who had,,,nasty things to deal with.

Regards
Seemingly, "support" is very "serious" and you should never have a thought of your own..... My Blog

Sean's Mom,

I hope your outing idea works well for Sean's morale, and will keep you all in my prayers.
Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!
