Image doesn't do the chair justice...

Same company as above, the motion can be got with a 75,90 and 105 degree bend
Seemingly, "support" is very "serious" and you should never have a thought of your own..... My Blog

Am I falling into a trap by asking,,,WHY???

Have you got your own supply of wheels? Are you planning to install some other type of drive system?

There must be more to this.

I have never heard of anyone selling a wheelchair without the wheels, can it be done? Will be interesting to see what the outcome of this is. :ranting: :wheelchair:

Difficult to call it a wheelchair if it hasn't got any wheels. Try Googling for an "unwheelchair" instead, perhaps. :ranting:

Seriously, a search for "Wheelchair frame" or similar might bring a result if you're very patient.

you can order any w/c w/o wheels..when you ord a chair, there are options for which wheels you want and you simply don't pick any..it'll actually reduce your cost a bit with most w/c co.s

Sure you can, but I got the impression the OP was looking for second hand. Could be wrong.

Go to your local med supply company that you can buy chairs from. I don't know why you wouldn't be able to order just a frame. Of course even though I have a set of wheels, I have no qualms about having another set or 2 or 3. Set up em with different types of tires for different terrain.

If you mean 2nd hand? Then hell if I was selling a chair that currently had wheels, tires with it and some one didn't want them, I'd just take em off and sell em the chair. Maybe knock a little off the price, but not much. As with anything else, resell value is never the same as items bought new.

i just bought my new aero z w/o wheels, i already had a new set w/quad release i got elsewhere and didn't need an extra pair...i can't find my order form to see how much they discounted, but it seems it was $90 per wheel..when i ordered my 2hp about 5 years ago, i got it sans wheels also, as well as no casters...they can't make you buy something you don't want that is "optional" and most chairs have options on wheels...they surely wouldn't refuse a potential sale over wheels

i would say it depends on if its cash and carry or insurance....but i think most supply co.'s will order just the frame......pretty sure......sportaid.com would be a good place to start........
