In addition to the Triathlon there is a 10K run. This should be a good event as it is held on base away from the hustle and bustle of busy city streets.

The city of Los Alamitos California on the border of Los Angeles and Orange Counties near the junction of the 605/405/22 Freeways is holding a Reverse Triathlon consisting of: K Run, 12 Mile Bike and 200 meter swim at the USA Water Polo National Training Center on the Joint Forces Training Base.
