I have developed this very weird sweating problem at night. Basically my legs and backside get wet through with sweat so much so that my bedclothes and night clothes are soaking. The top half of me is fine. The room is well ventilated not overly warm, the sheets are cotton so Im not sure about the whole thing. Im not old enough for it to be a womans thing either! Should I be concerned and go see my GP. its very irritating and waked me up every night.

thanks
L

Exact same thing. For me, it's a side effect of Cymbalta, but I can't do without this medicine because it helps so much with the reflex sympathetic dystrophy in my neck and upper back as well as the neuro pain from the cauda equina nerve compression.

My husband is T10, and he had an unusual sweating disorder several years ago.
He would have beads of sweat all over his bottom half and like you said the top half is fine.
I had to change all the bed sheets twice a night, and in the morning have a mountain of washing.
this went on for 2 years.
The Spinal hospital in Sheffield, were going to operate to aleviate the problem because it was so bad. But it just stopped overnight, no reason, just suddenly stopped.
So there is an operation that can be done to help, If its bothering you, i would just ask either your own doctor or the spinal hospital.
