Hiya mate,

I too have recently had a motorbike accident and are now back at my parents.. I don't know much about Stem Cells but I've just started going to a place called standing start ( www.standingstart.org ) which I highly recomend. Where about do you live? What's your injury? How long ago was it?

Hi Dade,
I also have a SCI due to a motor bike accident in April 2007, luckily I own my own house and now live alone after the Mrs moved on to someone else (but that's by the by). As for Stem cells, at present there are no proven cures or treatments that will bring about any significant benefits for Complete injuries. This isn't to say that things aren't moving forward and there won't ever be a 'cure' or treatment for SCI.
As for Incomplete injuries it's advisable to try some intense therapy with the likes of Project Walk (In US) or Standing Start (In UK).

If your interested in knowing/learning about the latest research I and others on Apparelyzed check out CARECURE.

All the best

Sean
