Hahah... what a hilarious topic title. But it is a serious question.

I have always hated the pants I wear (I have to wear pants) I can't war jeans, so I usually wear these stretchy nylon pants or what have you. No matter what I do, the more I wheel, the more the pants molds into my crotch and reveals the shape and everything. Do you know what I mean? I'm always fixing it and make sure it's okay. Am I only? seriously, if others experience this, I think I will cry happy tears. I always thought I'm alone in this.

I have the opposite problem. I wear khakis and slacks and mine are always sliding down.

I have the same problem with SOME jeans, Levi's seem to be the worse for me, I have found Arizona brand jeans sold here in the states at JCpenny don't do it as bad. and i stopped wearing any type of baggy jeans, i stick with the tighter fitting cuts.

I carry a small hand towel with me, most of the time. Mostly for keeping my hands clean while pushing about, but it comes in handy for when I'm eating,,, when I forget to pick it up in the morning, I can tell what I've had that day by what's on my cushion when I get off it at night.

Choosing one the same color as your pants would take care of your problem and mine as well.

Why do you "have to wear pants" not jeans? Hate to push push push, but if you're worried about seams and pressure issues, then so was another tetraplegic who now manufactures them with his brother. I sell them on DisabledGear.com. Lots of features for wheelchair users, but no compromise on modern stone-washed jeans, click on the link if interested, and then click on a photo for full details.

Best wishes
Guido

Guido, you neglected to mention that when you bought those pants is when your girlfriend came into your life, right?

I just make sure my shirt is long enough to cover everything. Once I'm in the chair things stay in place pretty well

You never explained why you can't wear jeans. I've worn jeans for more than forty years. I have my wife cut out the front pockets and take off the back pockets so everything is nice and smooth on the tush. With the front pockets cut out, there's nothing to bunch up or cause pressure irritations.

Unless your seat cushion is very firm, the back middle seam of jeans shouldn't cause problems. Cotton denim is much more comfortable for me than artificial fibers some pants are made from.

I dont have that problem, cuz I'm a girl an all, but around the wifey or girlfriend, I'd just leave it mold to "your shape". It might be a good reason to "hit the sack early"...ha.ha

I don't have that issue with jeans, I've always worn em and never cut out any pockets. They fit on me just like they do anyone else when they are sitting down, I just buy em a size or two longer then I normally would have so that they don't look like high water jeans since i'm always sitting.

There are some pants though that I really would like to have that do seem to customize mold themselves to my crotch. I've tried on several different types that I really really like and then as soon as I start moving around in the dressing room or come out of the dressing room, I notice that they tend to crawl themselves where I don't want them and I end up not buying them. Happens a lot with dress pants. Hell seems to happen with just about anything but jeans
