Is there a reason my bladder starts to hurt more when I try to lay down? I don't have a UTI, I drink nothing but water or milk, and I'm on Oxybutin. So, why's it still hurt and spasm just as bad?

Do you have an indwelling catheter? It could be the movement causing discomfort? Ask your Physiatrist about it.

tru, and indwelling cath might be most of the problem if thats the way u go......whats your urologist say, if u don't have one, u need to see one i'd think for sure..........they have several medicines for bladder spasms.......but it could be something all together different causing it............see you a good urologist.......

I kinda have the same issue, but mine is when i sit up in the AM. My bladder spasms and hurts like hell and i start sweating like crazy. I have a appt. next week w/ my urologist and to have a ultrasound to see if i have any bladder stones. This same thing happened the past three times i had stones. After he takes them out i'm good for 6-8 mo. then it starts all over again. You really need to see a urologist, maybe have an ultrasound done to check for stones. if you have them it's better to get them taken out before they get to big and they have to cut you open. good luck
